Beta terms
These terms apply to Warns while it is in beta. Warns is provided by Saira SAS, 173 rue de Courcelles, 75017 Paris, France (RCS Paris 130 728 926). By creating a workspace, using the API or the SDK, or running your agents against the public traps, you accept them. If you use Warns on behalf of a company, you accept them for that company.
What the beta is
Warns evaluates the payments your AI agents are about to make over x402, and returns a decision: allow, hold for a human, or block. During the beta:
- Warns runs on Base Sepolia, a test network, where every mode is available. Testnet USDC has no monetary value.
- Warns also runs on Base mainnet, in monitor mode only. There, Warns records a decision for each payment your agents make and may alert you, but it never blocks, holds or delays a payment, and it does not prevent any loss. Payments on Base mainnet move real funds: your agents, your wallets and your rules decide them, under your sole responsibility.
- The service is free. We may introduce paid plans later; we will tell you beforehand, and nothing will be charged without your explicit agreement.
- Access is by invitation, and we may limit it.
- Features, limits and the API may change, and the service may be interrupted or stopped. We will try to warn you before changes that break your integration.
What Warns does, and does not do
- Warns never holds your private keys and never moves funds. Your agent signs and pays with its own wallet.
- Decisions are automated, based on the rules you configure and on signals about each payment. In monitor mode, decisions are recorded but not enforced.
- Protection applies to payments that go through the Warns SDK and the signer it wraps. Payments made outside of it are detected after the fact, not prevented. The limits of each layer are described on warns.xyz.
- To protect every customer, Warns learns from the payments it evaluates: the address a merchant usually gets paid at, its usual price, and the recipients other customers held or blocked. Only aggregates are shared between customers, never your workspace, your agents, your wallets or the query strings of the URLs you pay. See the privacy policy.
- Warns is a security tool, not financial, legal or investment advice.
Your responsibilities
You remain responsible for your agents, your wallets and your keys, for the rules you set, and for the payments your agents make. You agree not to:
- attack, overload or try to get around the limits of the service or the public traps;
- use Warns for anything illegal, or to evaluate payments you are not entitled to make;
- share your API keys outside your team. Tell us at once if one leaks, and revoke it in the dashboard.
We may suspend access that breaks these terms or puts the service or other users at risk.
No warranty, limited liability
The beta is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, including that it will be uninterrupted, error free, or that it will catch every malicious payment. To the extent permitted by law, Saira is not liable for indirect losses, lost profits, lost data, or for payments made or refused by your agents. Our total liability for the beta is limited to 100 euros. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Your data
How we handle personal data is described in the privacy policy. You keep ownership of the data you send to Warns. You can ask us to export or delete it at any time.
Ending
You can stop using Warns at any time and ask us to close your workspace. We may end the beta, or your access to it, with reasonable notice by email.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by French law. If a dispute cannot be settled amicably by writing to hello@warns.xyz, it will be brought before the competent courts of Paris, unless mandatory rules applicable to you provide otherwise.
